Location and how to get there
By air
The nearest regional airport is Montpellier Méditerranée, situated 100 km (1 hour and 20 minutes) from the house. Norwegian fly directly from Oslo and Copenhagen in the summer months. Air France has flights to Montpellier from most European cities via Paris all year.
The nearest local airport is Béziers Cap d'Agde, 40 km from Roquebrun. Ryanair has direct flights to this airport from Stockholm, Düsseldorf, Paris and several cities in the UK.
by train
You can take the TGV from Barcelona to Béziers in 2 hours and 15 minutes or from Paris to Béziers in 4 hours and 15 minutes. There is a bus service three times a day from Béziers to Roquebrun, but we strongly recommend renting a car while you are there. There are several car rentals at the train station in Béziers. The drive to Roquebrun takes 40 minutes.
by car
If you come on the A9 (La Languedocienne) from Spain, you can drive to Roquebrun via Cazouls-les-Béziers on the D14. If you come from the east, you can take the D19 to Murviel-les-Bèziers. If you drive down from Paris, the best option is the A75 (La Méridienne), a very nice route with excellent road conditions and far less traffic than the busy A6/A7 (L'Autoroute du Soleil). It will also take you over the Millau Viaduct, the worlds tallest bridge, designed by Norman Foster.
